What constitutes a full-day hire?
A full-day hire is 24 hours. This is calculated from the time of hire until the return of the hired equipment at the same time the following day.
What constitutes a half-day hire?
A half-day hire is four hours from collection to the return of the equipment on the same day. In the event that the equipment is hired overnight, the daily hire rate will apply.
Does Barossa Valley Hire have an after hours telephone number?
You can contact our staff after hours on (08) 8562 3399. This is also our business hours number.
Does Barossa Valley Hire attend to after hours call outs?
After hours call outs may be arranged by calling (08) 8562 3399. A call out fee and labour cost may be incurred. Customers are requested to obtain information on any charge that may be applicable at the time of their enquiry.
Do you deliver plant and equipment?
Barossa Valley Hire owns and operates a 7 tonne tilt truck and a number of trailers that are used for the delivery and collection of plant and equipment. Prescribed cartage rates will apply. Customers are requested to obtain a quotation from our helpful staff prior to confirming arrangements for delivery and collection of plant and equipment.
What are your payment terms and conditions?
Barossa Valley Hire is pleased to provide credit applications to those customers wishing to establish an account for regular hire of plant and equipment. All customers are required to make payment in full on the day of hire if credit terms have not been previously established and agreed upon.
What methods of payment does Barossa Valley Hire accept?
We accept the following methods of payment for the hire of plant and equipment:
- Visa Card
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Does Barossa Valley Hire provide tow balls for trailers?
Barossa Valley Hire is unable to provide tow balls for hire. All customers are required to have a tow bar fitted with a 50mm tow ball if hiring a trailer.
Does Barossa Valley Hire provide ropes and straps to secure loads?
All customers are required to provide appropriate aids to safely secure the weight of plant and equipment that is hired.
Is Barossa Function Hire affiliated with Barossa Valley Hire?
Barossa Function Hire and Barossa Valley Hire are the two trading names incorporated under the registered company name of Trimark Enterprises Pty Ltd. The administration of both Barossa Function Hire and Barossa Valley Hire is centrally located and operated from our principal office at 59 Barossa Valley Way (know locally as Tanunda Road), Nuriootpa.
Customer enquiries and placement of orders with Barossa Function Hire can be made at the administration office in normal business hours.
All major orders placed with Barossa Function Hire are directly distributed to the customer from warehouse facilities located in Nuriootpa. Customers who have placed orders that do not include a marquee have the option of delivery or customer pickup from 59 Barossa Valley Way (know locally as Tanunda Road), Nuriootpa. Is Barossa Valley Hire an agent for Kleenheat Gas?
Yes. Barossa Valley Hire is a registered agent for the sale and collection of Kleenheat Gas products, including 18kg and 45kg bottled gas for domestic and commercial use. Payment of accounts can be made between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Pickup and return of gas bottles can be made during normal business hours respectively.
Refilling of 9kg gas bottles can be undertaken during normal business hours, however Barossa Valley Hire is unable to offer a swap and go service.
