Who we are

Barossa Valley Hire offers an extensive range of plant and equipment specifically catering to the needs of government, local industry, business and the community. Our organisation is committed to delivering ‘above and beyond’ customer expectations, especially value-added services such as operational training by our accredited staff and 24/7 onsite servicing. All customers always receive great value from their hired equipment.

The company is based in South Australia’s beautiful Barossa Valley, which is also home to directors, Mark and Patricia Burtonand their family. Our head office is at 59 Barossa Valley Way, (known locally as Tanunda Road) with offsite storage at 2-4 Barossa Valley Way, Nuriootpa. You can view a map of our location here.

Mark and Patricia purchased the business in 1994, forming the company Trimark Enterprises Pty Ltd. They now operate two successful businesses, Barossa Valley Hire and Barossa Function Hire. Our original goal was to establish a successful, family owned business to meet the needs of local industry, with a loyal and talented team providing exceptional customer service.

20 years later we have exceeded our own expectations, as well as those of the local business community, who now rely on Barossa Valley Hire to ‘get the job done’.

The Barossa Valley Hire team is committed, self-motivated and dedicated to providing the very best customer service. All staff regularly participate in structured professional development programs, an initiative that has had a significant impact on the success of the organisation. The team are in full support of our ‘local, family owned’ image, which is strongly promoted by us as directors of the company.

Investing in your business

Since 2005, Barossa Valley Hire has invested thousands per annum in the acquisition and renewal of major plant and equipment. As well as a Trailer Mounted Cherry Picker with traction drive (the only one for hire in South Australia), we offer major hire equipment including forklifts from 2.5 – 10 tonne and a range of dingos with attachments.

Economic growth in the region has been a key contributor to our success. We are proud to have played an important role in supporting major developments including the Mildara Blass bottling hall, the 30,000 tonne crushing facility for Yalumba Wines, Torbeck Wines 5,000 crushing facility and a new cellar door, crushing facility and warehouse for Murray Street Winery and the Barossa Council new Rex Centre. By providing the most up-to-date plant and equipment, along with the right service and advice, Barossa Valley Hire has supported numerous cost effective and efficient maintenance and construction programs for public and private sectors.
